24 Hours circuit

From Le Mans’s old town, it’s a 5.6 km run south on the D338, skirting the flat banks of the Sarthe before the Dunlop Curve grandstands rise to 73 meters. The 24 Hours layout mixes public road and closed circuit: 13.626 km in total, with the D338 transforming into the famed Mulsanne Straight. The 24 Hours Museum, opened in 1961 and reshaped after 1991, lines up 150-plus machines from the Bentley Speed Six to the Audi R10 TDI. You’ll also track how night racing changed since 1923: yellow headlights, pit-stop choreography, and the chicanes added in 1990.

Across a half-day, your driver collects you at your hotel or the TGV station (about 8 minutes) and keeps the Mercedes close, ready between each stop. The flow stays flexible: photos by Porsche Curves, the Dunlop footbridge, then the Museum while your driver handles tickets and timing. Afterward, he swings to the Mulsanne chicane viewpoint to feel the axis of speed, then on to Arnage and Mulsanne where shopfronts turn racing-blue in June; in Le Mans with a private chauffeur, you cover ground efficiently and spend your time listening for engines—not hunting for parking.
