It’s roughly 35 km across reclaimed Haarlemmermeer, skirting the A10 before the canals open up by Brouwersgracht and the Anne Frank House. Look up at the crow‑stepped gables, spot former warehouses in the Jordaan, and trace how a seaborne republic shaped painters, the spice trade, and Blaeu’s maproom.

From there, set the tempo: your dedicated driver meets you at your Leiden hotel, a Mercedes at your disposal, and flexes with your plans. While they handle traffic, P+R options like Olympisch Stadion, and timing, you work the Museum Quarter, snack on herring at Stubbe’s along the Singel, then swing past the Jewish Quarter and Gassan Diamonds. When you’re done, it’s a 40–50 minute ride back to the calm of the Rapenburg canal.
