From the sunlit slopes of Les Arcs to the colder shade that drops over La Plagne late in the day, the drive reframes Paradiski entirely. We set off from Arc 1800, slip through Peisey-Nancroix and over the Landry bridge in about 15 minutes, then wind up toward Aime 2000 and Plagne Centre, both born of France’s 1960s Plan Neige. At 1,970 m, La Plagne’s Olympic ice track—used for luge and skeleton at Albertville 1992—unfurls 1,500 meters of demanding bends. Montchavin-Les Coches, perched above the Tarentaise, beckons for a Savoyard pause.
The rhythm is easy—and polished. Collected at your hotel in Les Arcs, you have a comfortable Mercedes and dedicated driver all day. They handle the hairpins, parking at Plagne Centre, and the wait during your bob raft or bobsleigh slot, even shuttling if timing requires. You thunder down to La Roche (1,550 m); the car meets you at the finish, then rolls to Montchavin for mulled wine and a quick stop at the local dairy. Dusk return along the N90, last climb back to your residence.
