Roman and naval Cartagena

Everything is set like an amphitheatre facing one of the best-protected roadsteads in the western Med.

From there, the day runs at your pace: hotel pick-up in Murcia, a Mercedes on standby, and flexible stops as you go. Your driver handles the road while you sip an Asiático coffee on Plaza del Ayuntamiento, then tackle the Roman Theatre Museum and the Naval Museum (Arsenal, Peral Submarine) without circling for parking. It’s roughly 50 km via the A-30, 45–50 minutes depending on traffic. With a dedicated driver in the Murcia region, you string together far-flung sites smoothly — and still fit in a caldero lunch by the harbor at Cabo de Palos if the weather cooperates.
