Path of the Gods

Back in 1852, engineer Carlo Filangieri drafted one of the first modern surveys of the old mule track linking Agerola to the hamlets above Positano, tracing the very ledges you’ll walk today at roughly 580–650 m. The Path of the Gods still threads past Li Galli viewpoints, lemon terraces, tufa caverns, and small votive marks near Colle Serra. Expect 6.5–7.5 km depending on variants, scant shade, and uneven steps shaped by the pre-1854 coastal-road economy. You’ll finish in Nocelle, about 400 m above Positano, with historic stairways plunging toward Fornillo beach.

Collected at your Positano hotel, your Amani driver heads to Bomerano (Agerola) in a Mercedes via the SS163 and Valico di Chiunzi in about 70 minutes, while you sample a fiordilatte espresso stop. The car stays on standby: flexible timing, photo detours, and pickup in Nocelle so you skip the 1,700 steps to Arienzo.
