Stonehenge and Bath

Leaving London, the chalk downlands of Wiltshire roll southwest some 140 km via the M3 and A303, skirting Bronze Age barrows and the Avon’s chalk streams. Stonehenge stands at roughly 152 m, deliberately aligned to midsummer sunrise since around 2500 BC. Sixty kilometers farther west, Bath curves around a loop of the River Avon, its honey-colored limestone terraces and Roman Baths still fed by a 46°C spring. Two distinct landscapes, once bound by Roman roads and the historic kingdom of Wessex.

Your day begins with hotel pickup in London: a dedicated driver, Mercedes at your disposal, timing and access handled while you explore, taste, and linger. We start at Stonehenge early to beat queues, cross Salisbury Plain on a scenic run, then continue to Bath for lunch and the Roman Baths. A brief detour to Salisbury lets you admire the 123 m spire—20 minutes well spent—before the driver adapts plans to weather and crowds. You ride back late afternoon in the same car, luggage welcome on board.
