Golden ruffles on the Tagus, the Primada’s bells rolling across the valley, and the dry snap of wild rosemary underfoot. The Cigarrales road traces the old leisure estates of the 16th–17th centuries, built for vines and summer air, squarely facing Toledo’s Mudéjar walls. From Mirador del Valle, the river’s loop frames the medieval ellipse, the Alcázar at 548 m crowning the slate roofs. You can pick out Puente de Alcántara two kilometers away and the remnants of mill weirs along the bank.
Picked up at your Toledo hotel, you ride in a Mercedes while your dedicated driver handles the CM-3103 and the timing. Unhurried stops for viewpoints come first, then the ridge road through the cigarrales to a pre-booked estate for dinner about 15 minutes on. You tour, you taste; the driver waits close by and adjusts the route. Expect 3–4 hours door to door, with drop-off back in the historic center or at your lodging.
