Trade Zagreb’s limestone rooftops and lively Tkalčićeva cafés for the karst plateau of Lika. Around 2h15 south, Plitvice Lakes unfold sixteen travertine-formed basins linked by the 78 m Veliki slap. Boardwalks skim calcium-rich water where trout and moss thrive, a landscape protected by UNESCO since 1979. You can stitch together routes C or H to cross Lake Kozjak and the Upper Lakes, then slip to a quiet lookout near Stubica for a sweeping view of the natural barriers.
From there, it’s effortless travel: hotel pickup in Zagreb with your dedicated Amani Limousines driver, a Mercedes with precise ride and plush seats. Timed-entry tickets and boat–shuttle logistics are handled; you set the pace on site, no rush. Between loops, sample trout and baked štrukli at a konoba in Korana while your driver manages parking at Entrance 1 or 2. On the way back, pause at Šupljara Cave if the late light cooperates, then cruise into Zagreb by evening.
