Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau

Leaving Munich, you cruise south on B2 then A7 for 128 km toward Füssen, with the Ammergebirge ridges framing the approach. Marienbrücke, opened in 1866, spans the gorge and waterfall for the classic viewpoint. In Schwangau, your private chauffeur in Bavaria lines up skip-the-line tickets, buffers the gap between castles, and drops you closest to Marienbrücke or the Alpsee shore. You wander, refuel at Schloss Bräustüberl if crowds swell, and they wait. The return can follow the Romantic Road, with a detour to Steingaden or the Wieskirche if timing works.
