Here the landscape switches between the 7‑km sand ribbon of Es Trenc (Ses Covetes to Colònia de Sant Jordi), limestone bluffs at Cala Pi dropping some 20–25 m, and the centuries‑old Campos salt pans. The island ends at Cap de Ses Salines; on clear days Cabrera sits on the horizon. You come for crystalline water, yes, but also to read a shoreline shaped by salt, trade winds and patient erosion.
