From Marlenheim to Thann, the Alsace Wine Route winds along 170 kilometres of slopes at the foot of the Vosges. Obernai, Barr, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr: walled, geranium-decked villages follow one another, each with its winstubs and family estates. This is the birthplace of the great rieslings and gewurztraminers, tasted in cellars among century-old oak casks.
Your chauffeur collects you at your Strasbourg hotel and shapes the route around your wishes: two or three estates booked ahead, lunch in a winstub in Riquewihr, a detour via Obernai's market square. You taste freely, he drives. The vehicle stays on standby at every stop and your cases of wine travel in the boot right to your door.
