From here, it runs like clockwork. Collected at your hotel near Corso Italia or by the Canal Grande, you keep the car and driver for the evening, 4–5 hours on your terms. In Trieste with a dedicated chauffeur, you glide between a piazza aperitivo, fish dinner at Al Petes in Borgo Teresiano, and a late espresso beneath Tommaseo’s arcades. Each hop takes 5–10 minutes; drop-offs at the door, the driver holds reservations, waits while you taste, and reshuffles plans if the bora blows or a table opens early.
